Here you will find a brief summary
on the major characters, good and bad, that appear
in the
"X-23: No Way back" stories. This section will be
updated as characters appear.
In Order of Appearance:
|
 |
Laura Kinney (aka X-23):
On the outside,
Laura is tough, fearless in a fight and not
afraid to kill. On the inside, it’s a very
different story. Having grown up in “captivity”
for the first thirteen years of her life, has
left her haunted by her past, emotionally
traumatised and struggling to fit in. Having
been surrounded by Logan and the X-Men for the
past year has taught her a lot about the world.
But the seventeen year old is still constantly
locked into a battle of understanding, torn
between the rules she’s been raised by and the
rules of humanity. |

 |
Logan (aka Wolverine/Weapon X):
Gruff, with a
reserved exterior, Logan, like Laura, is very
much haunted by his past and the things he's
done. On the outside, he appears
intimidatingly dangerous. He is
definitely not a man to be
crossed. But on the inside, those closet to him
see the caring, protective man that he pretends
not to be. It's fair to say, Logan
considers himself responsible for Laura, after
all, it was by stolen samples of his DNA that
she was created. And because of this, he'd do
anything to protect her, no mater the cost. |

 |
Dr. Hank McCoy (aka Beast):
To the casual observer, Henry "Hank" McCoy
may look ferial as they come. His Mutational
blue fur and feline-like features make him one
of the few Mutants to stand out from the rest.
However, those that know him, know that despite
his savage appearance, Hank is a kind and fair
individual. His is man of great intelligence and
is worldly known for his work in genetics and
biochemistry. He also serves as the Xavier
Institute's Teacher and Medical Doctor, tending
to those injured whilst they fight the good fight. |
|
 |
Scott Summers (aka
Cyclops):
Scott Summers has always believed in
Professor Xavier's dream of mutant and human
equality, and arguably, he is his most loyal
student. It is for these reasons that he has
taken over as not only leader of the X-Men, but
co-headmaster of the school. He's able to
produce powerful "optic blasts" from his eyes,
forcing him to wear specialized glasses at all
times. In overcoming his "disability", some say
it's this that has made him the strong leader
that he has become, striving to do what he must
to protect his race. |
