Mrs 'Rachel' Ross: is Ashley's mother. She lives
in West Avenue with her daughter and
boyfriend Rick. She works at the Mall in one of the Clothes
stores (owned by Dylan's mom). Mrs Ross is very protective of Ashley, and has
hidden a secret
from her daughter all of her life. When it finally comes out, it changes
their relationship forever. Mrs Ross is friends with Mrs Lee (Ling's
mom) and her employer Mrs. Matthews (Dylan's mom).
She's been
divorced from Ashley's father (David) for
eight years now, and has found a new boyfriend: Rick.

Richard 'Rick' Gregory: is Mrs Ross's fiancée. Rick works as a Lorry Driver, which means half of the week he's
away, to Ashley's relief. Ashley and Rick do not get along, except
in front of Rachel. Rick is devoted to her mom but doesn't have much time for Ashley.
Rick considers the teen as "a little brat", he'd
rather Ashley not to be a part of his or his fiancée's
life. Rick bullies Ashley when her mom isn't around.

Diesel: is Ashley's German Shepherd. She got him as a
Christmas present from her mom. Ashley chose him from the local
Animal Shelter. Diesel's very loyal and very protective towards
Ashley. And he is most happiest when he's with the the gang.
